What we process and why

Using the website

When the website is requested, technical data may be processed in server logs, such as an IP address, request date and time, requested URL, response status, browser or device information and referring address. This supports reliable delivery, security, troubleshooting and prevention of misuse.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contacting JORAT

If you email, call or write to us, we process the details you choose to provide, such as your name, contact details, message and information concerning the proposed project.

Depending on the context, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or a legal obligation under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

No contact form or profiling

This website does not contain a contact form. It does not use analytics, advertising trackers or automated decision-making, and JORAT does not use website data to profile visitors.

Who may receive the data

Data may be available to service providers supporting the website, email, IT security, administration or professional advice, only to the extent needed for those services and subject to appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.

If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, transfers should take place only under a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR.

How long data is kept

  • Technical logs are kept according to the hosting and security configuration, only for as long as reasonably needed for operation, diagnosis and protection.
  • Enquiry correspondence is kept for the time needed to respond and, where relevant, for the duration of the business relationship and applicable limitation periods.
  • Information required by tax, accounting or other law is kept for the period required by that law.

Your data rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.

You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych). Current contact and complaint information is available at uodo.gov.pl.

Providing data and updates

Providing information in an enquiry is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond or assess a proposed scope without the information needed for that purpose.

This notice may be updated if the website, service providers or processing activities change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
